Hermana Roundy came back!

On my mission, one of my favorite jokes was mimicking Rose from Titanic,
desperately calling for the rescue boat to save her
"Come Back!"

I can't exactly remember how, but quickly, "come back" quite often became
"Hermana Roundy, come back"

I love Hna Roundy
She is one of the kindest,
most loving,
most dedicated,
obedient,
incredible missionaries I have ever met.

She taught me everything I knew about an area book,
and she ROCKS at writing in her journal, and hand written notes,
She lookes good EVERYDAY
and does not have mean bone in her body.
She was also sweet enough to share her easter with us.

This weekend, HERMANA ROUNDY CAME BACK!
I think it was one of those things that I didnt realize how much I had missed her until I was with her again.
First off, she ROCKED her homecoming talk.
I was totally tearing up, the spirit was SO STRONG.

Then, Hermana Bay and Hermana Roundy had a tender reunion.
Hermana Bay almost plowed the "gentleman caller" that was anxiously awaiting to congradulate Hermana Roundy

(they couldn't help but hold hands... so tender)

We got to meet the Roundy's. They are as adorable as I imagined.

Reunited and it felt so good!

Thanks for changing my mission and life Hermana Roundy!

Tradition: The grotto

I LOVE fall.
Right? Who doesn't.
It was honestly a little hard for me being in Costa Rica this time last year,
I missed fall SO MUCH!
Crisp mornings,
 boots,
pumpkins
pumpkin flavored everything
corn mazes
the works.

One of my favorite fall time activities is visiting The Grotto up Payson Canyon.
When my parents  got married they went up Payson Canyon every year
to commemorate their "first letter" anniversary.
(I'll have to tell you the story sometime)

The Grotto  is a great choice for out family.
We call it a "hike"
but it's totally a nature walk.
They even have bridges designed to look like logs
that criss-cross across the river leading up to the waterfall.

We LOVE to see the colors change,
and we always get Black Jack Pizza
Its a great time.

This weekend we got the chance to go again,
and I loooooved it.
Also , we are admited "posers"
#hatersgonnahate

(I'm annoyed I cant turn this on its side)

My life lately, according to my cell phone

Some funny texts:

How cute is my brother?? #comfrence

My brothers attempt at Spanish

And the funniest of all (which of coarse I had to block who it was for their own protection),
I've never laughed over a text so much

My brother's homecoming picture:

I know, we are all a little tired of the October 3rd quote:

I can't believe that this was 5 years ago

How great are these reactions?

Road trippin' buds and Idaho spuds

This last week was crazy.
I have been struggling to find balance since coming home and starting school.
Between a new major, a new job, new roommates,
and trying to stay up with new habits like scripture study, temple attendance,
staying social, getting good grades,
last week it all just sort of caught up with me.

I was honestly a little worried when some of my mission friends suggested we go to Boise
for Hna Boer's homecoming talk.
The truth is, I knew Hna Boer, but not that well.
I worried that I would loose sleep, and come home feeling more stressed then when I left,
but my yellow personality just couldn't resist it.

It seemed like the whole universe was against me going.
Lots of homework,
really tired,
scheduled to work
a test I was worried I wouldn't get done in time
Dayna was born and Cristina got really sick
so on, and so forth

But Saturday morning we were Boise bound.
I started the trip off joking (but also serious) that if you had told me a month ago (let alone on my mission) that one day I would have gone on a road trip with Hna Tippets  Elders Brackett, Fearn,
Lundberg and  Burgeson,  I would have laughed.
Most of them I barely even knew on my mission.
But out random, little group packed into the explorer and we were off.

The next 48 hours flew by so quickly.
We saw a little of this.
and way too much of this:
#breezycrack #dempantsdoe

We laughed. A LOT.
Good friend moves.
Bad friend moves.
Deep talks.
Wilson recited poetry
Chismes. So much cheese.
And some of the most genuine compliments ever.

Idaho was flatter and... uglier than I expected.

"I support that... you ungirdle those loins"

I literally almost stepped on this dogs head on the way down the stairs.

A quality time with some quality people

Accidental Snapchat saves

Let's be honest, these were just too funny to keep to myself:

Post mission life

So I took a small hiatus.
I'll have to admit, that its a little crazy being back on the good ol' blog again.
But I am happy to be here.

So it's been a month!
And what a month it's been.
Probably the longest month of my life.
So much has happened in such a short amount of time

And now, a crazy collage of my favorite pictures from the last month, and a list of some of my favorite things:

Having this girl with me in Provo, and going to the Ogden Temple open house with her and non member family.

Hanging out with "mission people" outside of the mission

Meeting all these babies!!!!!!!

The council.

Being in Provo (Go cougs)

Some favorite things I've discovered since coming home:

This song (and I like it better sung by a girl)

The Marriott
Netflix
Tacos 180
"Dirty" Diet Coke
Spending time with this girl

... Was that a good enough catch up? I hope so... because I am tired of this post.
