Proud To be An American

This last week we have been so lucky to have Charise, Bill, Brighton, And cole come visit us, while they have been on tour for Kids are music, and came a few days in advance to hang out.
For FHE we made fruit pizzas. Char and Bill tend to make yummy foods while they are vacation (I know from experience)
With Kids are music, Char took those who wanted, to go see Wicked. She bought tickets for her two boys, but then realized that you aren't allowed to have small children in the audience, so she sold her tickets to Ricky and Spencer. But because my mom didn't love the idea of Spencer and Ricky Riding the BART (or sort of "Subway") into San Fransisco alone, and Ricky has been saving his money to buy a new Ipod, I bought his ticket from him.

The next two days (3rd and 4th) We did a lot of fun sight seeing with Kids are Music. This is a fairly bad picture of Lambard street. Its really famous because it is so steep that the had to make 8 switchbacks in order for wagons and horses (back in the day) to be able to go up it.

*For those of you who know the Wingetts, We have been babysitting alot of them as of late, and we ran into them here on Lambard street on a total couincadence
Our first morning, we went to this really awesome kids museum called the "exploritoruim" Where they have a lot of really cool things for the kids to run around and learn about.

Just outside the exploratorium is what they call "The palace of fine arts".

Its this REALLY awesome dome type thing with columns and awesome statues, that is modeled to look like greek art. It was built in the early 1900's for the "world trade fair" or something. They origonally had 11 domes, but knocked them all down except one. the domes where huge.

After the Exporitorium, we went to Fishermans Warf.

This was fun to see in one of the shops since i still had WICKED on the mind.
P.S. notice my shirt says "There is no place like home".
I thought this was appropriate since these are the "san fran wicked shirts" (Meaning they only sell this shirt in san fran.

After Fishermans Wharf, We preformed at Gharadeli Square. (chocolate! yum!)

The next day (the 4th) We went to the Boudin Sourdough Factory. They made a huge Alligator out of sourdough

Loui Vuitton had the coolest display in Union Square (Where my dads office is- Which is cool because he works close to Prada, Gucci, ect)
The origional Chine Town. (They had China Town in San Fran before New York, because asians would come across the pacific ocean to get to america verses cross the whole world to get to New York)

That night was one of the coolest and patriotic Fourth of July's i have ever had. We got to spend it with the Grooms!
Kids are music got to preform on the U.S.S. Jerimiah O'Brian. (an old war ship from WWII)
It was neat to be in such a Patriotic place, with Patirotic music, on such a patriotic day.

IT was FREEZING

Okay, so these pore cleaner strips are amazing. I honestly have never had a product do so many magical things for me in one take. They are really easy to use, and they work really well, every single time (as long as you do them right). They clean out the pores on your nose. They basically rip out all the dirt and junk from your blackheads. All you have to do is get your nose really wet, and apply the strip, and wait to dry! Anyways, its hard to find affordable products these days that really leave you happy with the results, but both me and my mom have never enjoyed a product more and thought that they deserved some props. if Biore was a multi level company, I would sign up, just because i enjoy this one product so much. So i am plugging them on my site. If you have really big pores, and you use these, after a few days your pores shrink so small you can't see them.

This is how hot i feel. The weather here in danaville is in high 90's. and i feel like i am going to drowned in this..... HOTNESS. ba. ga.

On a brighter note! We have visitors at my house! Charise, Billie, Collie-Ollie and Bright-O are here for their Kids are Music tour, and came a few days earlier to see our house and PAR-TAY! More to come....

p.s. i am sorry for the burst of blogging i have been doing. I am using the blog as a sort of journal, and i want to document things before i forget minor details, and because i havn't had internet, There is a lot to catch up on. ;)

Ode to Elizabeth Grace

A few days ago, Libby lost her very first tooth! She was quite excited because all her peers have been losing teeth for some time, but libby got stuck with that "Patterson curse". We Patterson's don't loose teeth until almost second grade, which, in our young lives, cause us great agony.




But they day finally came a few hours before Libby's seventh birthday! She was so excited!



Literally the second day in our new house, our new next door neighbors came over to introduce themselves. They are BRITISH, Which makes my heart sing a little. They have a daughter (Alix) Who is Spencer's age, and is basically a female version of Spencer, and another daughter (Isabel) Who is Libby's age. Isabel and Libby have become quite the pair.

We had a very small birthday dinner for Libby, including home made pizza by Dad, and We invited the neighbors over for cake and ice cream, since Isabel is so far libby's closest friend. We didn't have a big party, because Libby had a Tea-Party Birthday with all her friends back in Utah. But all the same- I think Libby had a great Birthday.

I caught Jacob dipping his fingers in the frosting and eating them. Ha ha.
